“The Prisoners”, a Warner Brothers film will soon be shooting here in Conyers and Rockdale County and an open casting call for extras was held Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Rockdale Career Academy. Tammy Smith Casting in Atlanta managed the casting call. Tammy Smith Casting normally holds Atlanta area casting events in neighboring communities closer to Atlanta. We were able to show Tammy Smith Casting the advantages of holding the casting event right here in Rockdale County, where the movie will be shot. The event brought close to 1000 potential extras for the movie from all over the Atlanta metro area as well as from neighboring states.
According to Tammy Smith Casting, extra needs included men and women, age 18 and older, of all ethnicities. Lucky extras will portray middle class men and women with both suburban and rural community looks; male and female detectives, police officers and precinct staff; hospital and emergency room staff including nurses, doctors and orderlies.
The movie will shoot in and around Conyers from Jan. 16 – March 26, 2013.
