Piedmont Rockdale Medical Center unveiled its new Heart and Vascular Center and  Interventional Cardiology Program on July 16, 2015. This program is in partnership with Piedmont Heart to provide the care our citizens need closer to home. The new Heart and Vascular Center includes the addition of a multi-million dollar catheterization laboratory (or cath lab) and development of a coronary angioplasty (PCI) program.

By providing the new PCI program , if you have heart disease and require a procedure, you now have the alternative of non-surgical procedures compared to traditional coronary bypass surgery. This alternative can reduce your downtime and shorten your recovery period.

A state-of-the-art da Vinci® Si™ Surgical System for minimally invasive surgery is used for Gynecological and Urological procedures. Rockdale Medical Center also features a wound healing center geared toward seniors and diabetes patients.
