On February 3, 2020 Conyers Rockdale Economic Development Council hosted a lunch for Great Southern Wood, Volume Transportation, HydroExcavators, and Batchelor & Kimball. All of these Rockdale County businesses are located on Plunkett Road. We discussed expansions including with HydorExcavators breaking ground on its new HQ, GSW breaking ground on phase one of its next expansion, and Batchelor & Kimball planning its expansion.
Great Southern Wood to Expand in Rockdale
Great Southern Wood has announced they will begin a 25+ million dollar expansion in Rockdale County beginning October 1st with completion by the end of 2021. 35 new careers are anticipated in completion of the project.
