Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. is excited to announce their expansion and relocation to Rockdale County.
Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. (BKI) is a very well-respected mechanical contractor with more than 30 years’ experience specializing in commercial HVAC mechanical and plumbing construction for mission critical facilities including hospitals, laboratories, data centers, institutional, and manufacturing/ industrial high purity piping systems. They provide design/build expertise as well as turn key construction.

In BKI’s portfolio are Fortune 500/1000 companies like AT&T, Apple, and Lifepoint Hospitals (Rockdale Medical Center) as well as many other well-known names in biosciences (chemistry, medical, healthcare), information and biotechnology, and research and development industries that include Emory Healthcare, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Shepherd Spinal Centers, Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Piedmont Healthcare, Wellstar Hospitals, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Ceradyne, Cryolife, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Georgia, and Kennesaw State University.

BKI currently has approximately 200 employees and reports annual revenues of more than $150,000,000. They plan to invest more than $5,000,000 into their new facility in Rockdale County.

“Batchelor & Kimball has purchased 20 acres in unincorporated Rockdale County to build their new manufacturing facility which will also be their corporate headquarters. This property and the new 100,000sf building will give BKI the much needed space to meet their immediate needs as well as room for future growth and expansion,” said Marty Jones, Executive Director of CREDC.

Brian Batchelor, Chief Operations Officer of BKI, explains that the decision to move to Rockdale County from their home of more than three decades was difficult, and only made after the management team completed a thorough search and review of all the options. Ultimately, the decision was unanimous that the Rockdale County property was the best fit for the company today and for the next 30 years.
